PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To maximize the longevity of your eyelash extensions and the amount of eyelash extension application time, HAVE no eye makeup on. Having makeup free / clean eyelashes will dramatically increase the life of your eyelash extensions and will also increase the amount of eyelash extensions you will have applied.

If you wear contacts, we recommend that you please wear glasses to your appointment. Contacts must be removed during eyelash extension application.

Listen to your Lash Artist: Length, weight, style, and design are individual specific—if your lash Artist says NO to a specific length or look, it’s for your own good.

What if I need a touch-up on a lash set created from another studio?

There is no one way to apply eyelash extensions, and for this reason, each lash artist has an individual way of styling and applying eyelash extensions. For you to receive our best service, it’s best to have a new set applied rather than receiving a lash touch up on a set created from another studio.

Each service begins with a consultation for the understanding of your desired look. The previous set can be removed prior to your lash application. The charge for removal is $25. Lash removal due to unacceptable work is $50; it takes a lot of work to properly and healthily remove the extension without damage or loss of your natural lashes. We are happy to consult as well.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Now that you have long, thick, gorgeous lashes, here are some easy instructions and tips to properly care for them so that they remain beautiful.  Remember to schedule a touch-up appointment every two weeks to fill in the areas where the natural lash has fallen out and new lashes are growing in.

THE FIRST 48 HOURS

  • Gently cleanse your lashes and eyelids daily.  Avoid cotton.  Use fingertips, micro tip swabs, or silicon rounds/wedges.
  • Brush lashes everyday
  • Don’t brush when wet.  Wait until dry then brush.  Blot with paper towel (recommended) or tissue.
  • Keep the lash-line clean and clear of makeup.
  • Avoid hot steam from the shower, sauna, and kitchen.
  • Leave them alone, do not rub you eyes excessively! Be gentle with your new lashes.
  • Do not pull or tug at them.
  • Sleep you’re your back or your side with your lashes off the pillow.
  • Get a touch up every 2-3 weeks

POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

In order to maximize the life of your eyelash extensions, please follow these after-care instructions:

Wait 48 Hours before allowing water, steam, saunas, hot tubs and sweating  to come in contact with your eyes.  If you wear contacts, please wait before reinserting them and use the least amount of contact solution possible for proper placement. Please blot excess solution with tissue and avoid pooling solution, re-wetting drops, or tears from pooling around eyes.

Never: Use waterproof mascara or eyeliner on eyelash extensions. Most mascara and eyeliners contain ingredients and oils that will break down the bond of the glue. In addition, the removal of waterproof mascara or eyeliner requires an oil-based solution for removal that will cause the extensions to fall off prematurely.

If you must wear mascara or liquid eyeliner, please note the use of mascara and eyeliner will break the bond and the adhesive, which will damage the extensions. This will result in a higher extension loss rate. If choosing to use mascara or eyeliner, it is crucial to use a NON-OIL BASED remover as oils will loosen extensions and shorten the lifespan of your extensions.

ONLY USE OIL-FREE : (that means water-based products only) products to remove eye make-up. When removing eye makeup, use a makeup sponge gently to cleanse the area.

NEVER : use an eyelash curler or cut the extensions, this can permanently damage not only the extensions, but your natural eye lashes as well.

If you would like to remove your eyelash extensions, please schedule an appointment. Attempting to remove extensions yourself is NOT RECOMMENDED, as it may cause breakage or loss of your natural lashes,

The lash cycle is approximately 4-12 weeks. Do not be alarmed if some of your lashes fall out quickly (they most likely were at the end of their cycle) The majority of extensions will stay through a complete cycle if you follow the guidelines.

Keep your lashes clean by using the solution provided in your home care kit.  Clean lashes are important as debris build up like dirt, make-up, etc. This can cause the adhesive to wear out faster.

Gently comb your lashes while they are dry to prevent any crisscrossing lashes.  Be sure to schedule your refill appointment every 2-3 weeks, this will keep your lashes looking Full and Beautiful!
